Feel the force of Portuguese engineering and the wind on our faces as we crossed the tracks Barrocal an all-open classic jeep. This isn't just a ride; it's a Cultural and sensory immersion.
Starting from the Cubist city of Olhão, we climbed to the highest point in the region, the Mount São Miguel, where you can enjoy a Fantastic view of the Ria Formosa, in a scenario of 360º truly unforgettable, accompanied by a toast with regional liqueurs and a selection of Typical delicacies from our Barrocal.
We continue through the red soils of Moncarapacho until Viveiros Monterosa, where will we carry out a Commented tasting of premium olive oils, getting to know the process and the richness of the so-called “liquid gold”.
The adventure continues until Pego do Inferno, one Wonderful waterfall wrapped in legends and lush nature, where will you have the possibility of diving and refresh yourself, should you wish and conditions permit.
We then explore the historic centre of Tavira, one of the most charming towns in the Algarve, where we visited the Tavira Castle, we travelled its iconic Roman bridges, we discovered Historic churches and we dive into the cultural richness of this ancient city.
We continue along the Saltpans route, a unique scenario where we will try to observe Flamingos and others migratory birds — an experience that is always special, although dependent on natural conditions and the time of year.
Finally, we passed through the picturesque fishing village of Santa Luzia, known as the capital of the octopus, where you can appreciate its traditional atmosphere and receive local recommendations before the return.
And passionate bilingual guides and a personalised rhythm, we guarantee a rich experience in stories, landscapes and traditions which reveal the true essence of the Algarve — far from the traditional tourist trails.
