About this tour

Discover the unique beauty of Ria Formosa on an experience Relaxing that combines Nature, Coastal landscapes e Wildlife observation — all with the comfort of a Modern, air-conditioned van. Throughout this tour, you will explore some of the most authentic settings of Sotavento Algarve, with carefully chosen stops to make the most of every moment.

The experience begins with departure from Olhão, heading towards Cacela Velha, one of the most picturesque villages in the region, situated overlooking the Ria. Here you will have about 30 minutes to explore the Quiet streets, to appreciate the Panoramic views over the lagoon and, if tide conditions permit, have a dip in the calm waters.

Next, we proceed to Tavira, with a brief stop by the iconic Roman Bridge of Tavira. For about 10 minutes, you will be able to admire this historical symbol, stroll along the Gilão River and take photographs of the typical Algarvian surroundings.

The journey continues through Santa Luzia, a Traditional fishing village known for its connection to the sea and to Octopus fishing. Here we make a short scenic route (no exit from the van), ideal for observing the local environment and proximity to the estuary.

We then continue to the Fuseta Salt Pans, where we will stop for about 10 minutes dedicated to Birdwatching. Using the resource of Binoculars e species guides included, you will have the opportunity to identify different birds and get to know this unique ecosystem.

The next stop is Tesos Beach, where you'll have about 20 minutes a pair Relax by the estuary, enjoy the surrounding scenery or take a dip in the generally calm e Shallow.

Throughout the entire course, the pace is Calm e Relaxed, with several opportunities for contact with nature and moments of pause. At the end, we return to Olhão.

Overall, this is a perfect activity for those who want to get to know several emblematic locations of the Ria Formosa in a Comfortable e Relaxed, combining culture, Nature and small stops ideal for refresh along the route.
